Meet Plumi: a calmer way to track your baby
Why we built a baby tracker for one-handed, in-the-dark logging — and what makes Plumi different from everything else on the App Store.
If you’ve ever tried to log a 3 a.m. feed while holding a sleeping baby in one arm, you already understand the problem we set out to solve.
Most baby trackers were clearly designed at a desk, by someone who wasn’t holding a baby. Tiny buttons. Five taps to log a single nappy. Pop-ups asking you to rate the app while your little one is mid-meltdown. We wanted something gentler — an app that respects how exhausted and busy new parents actually are.
So we built Plumi.
Designed for one hand, in the dark
Every tile, sheet and timer in Plumi is sized and placed so it works while you’re holding a baby. Big tap targets. No tiny menus. No surprise interruptions. Just log, dismiss, and get back to your kid.
The Today screen puts your most-used logs on a quick-action shelf — and that shelf adapts as your baby grows, so the right buttons are always under your thumb whether you have a newborn or a toddler.
One tap, and it’s logged
Our favourite part is how little it asks of you. The most common logs — a diaper, a feed, a nap — are a single tap from the Today screen, or even from a Home Screen and Lock Screen widget without opening the app at all.
It turns the most tedious part of tracking into something you barely have to think about.
Private by default
Here’s the part we’re proudest of: your baby’s data stays on your phone.
