Terms of Service
Last updated: June 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plumi mobile application and the website at plumi.app (together, the "Service"), provided by Plumi ("Plumi", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Plumi
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. Plumi is intended for parents and caregivers to record information about children in their care.
2. Not medical advice
Plumi is a tracking and organization tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Growth charts, vaccine schedules, and other information are provided for general informational purposes only and may not reflect your child's specific circumstances. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the information and photos you enter ("Your Content"). Because Your Content is stored on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud account), you are responsible for it, including keeping your own backups. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own family's use.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- The core app is free. Plumi Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks unlimited Magic AI Camera scans and other premium features.
- Subscriptions are sold and managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
- Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
- abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent usage limits of the Magic AI feature;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to upload content you don't have the right to use;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of the Service.
6. Magic AI results
The Magic AI Camera Assistant produces automated suggestions that may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any suggested values before saving them. We make no guarantee about the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (other than Your Content), is owned by Plumi and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plumi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
