Diaper tracker

The diaper log that counts for you

Wet, dirty or mixed, logged in a tap mid-change. Daily counts answer the pediatrician's first question, and the shared journal answers everyone else's.

  • Wet, dirty or mixed — one tap A diaper change is three taps at most, usually one. Loggable with one hand, in the dark, mid-change.
  • Counts the pediatrician asks for “How many wet diapers a day?” is answered by the daily totals — today, yesterday, and any day you swipe back to.
  • Never run out The shopping list keeps diapers and wipes on the radar, shared with whoever is doing the store run.

Every change, counted

Changes land in the journal and the day adds itself up — how many, and how many of each kind. Filter to just diapers, swipe back through the week, and walk into the checkup with numbers instead of a shrug.

Rash checks and diaper runs

The daily routine keeps diaper-adjacent care from slipping — rash check, cream, tummy time — and the shopping list keeps the diaper stash from hitting zero at the worst possible moment. Both shared with whoever's on duty.

Diaper tracker questions

Is the diaper tracker free?

Yes — diaper logging, daily counts and the journal are free forever, no account needed. Plumi Pro adds sync and sharing so both parents (and the daycare bag packer) see the same log.

How many wet diapers should a newborn have?

A rough rule of thumb many pediatricians use: about one wet diaper per day of life in the first week (day 3 ≈ 3 wet diapers), then 6 or more wet diapers a day once feeding is established. Every baby differs and diaper counts are just one signal — if you’re concerned about too few wet diapers, call your pediatrician.

Why do diaper counts matter at all?

In the early weeks, wet and dirty diapers are the clearest sign that a baby is getting enough milk — which is why it’s one of the first questions at every checkup. A tracked count beats a sleep-deprived guess.

What can I log for each change?

Wet, dirty or mixed, with a time that snaps to “now.” The journal rolls changes up into daily totals with a per-type breakdown, and the Baby Card summarises the 30-day average for the doctor.

Can I print or export the log for the pediatrician?

Yes. The Baby Card is a printable PDF summary that includes diaper averages alongside feeding, sleep and growth percentiles — or export the full history as CSV.

We are starting potty training — does Plumi handle that too?

Yes, potty is its own entry type, so the transition shows up in the journal naturally: diapers trending down, potty trips trending up.

Can both parents and the nanny log changes?

With Plumi Pro, everyone you invite logs into the same journal with their own login, and every entry shows who logged it — so “when was she last changed?” never needs a text message. One subscription covers the family, including the nanny.

Count diapers, not worries.

Diaper tracking is free forever. Plumi Pro adds sync, sharing and printable summaries.
